I’m all in favor of using cell phones as learning devices (there are ) but that’s not all they’re being used for in high school classrooms.
Over at you can ( if you have the stomach for it) watch seven student-filmed YouTube <a href='http://videos.asiansexblogs.net/'>videos</a> of teachers losing it in class. Of course you can also watch the truly horrendous behavior of the students.
2) Kids who have never been taught (or shown) respect aren’t likely to respect their teachers.
3) Teaching is a tough tough job and all teachers need more training and support to <a href='http://help.adultwebmasterblogs.net/'>help</a> them handle disrespectful students in the classroom.
5) I am glad I am not a teacher but I truly respect those who have chosen this profession and are devoting themselves to modeling respectful behavior in the classroom. You are doing powerful and important work.
6) If you are a parent and your kid is attending classes similar to these you should know that there are better options available–and you should not hesitate to find an alternative. (I’m not talking pricey <a href='http://private.webcamsblogs.com/'>private</a> schools if that’s not in your budget.) The classrooms depicted (even allowing for baiting just for the camera) are not conducive to learning for even the most motivated students.
There are plenty of ways to get a great education without wasting time in classrooms in which there is little respect for people and for learning in general.

Anyway. I’m quite impressed at the life you’ve lead here. You’ve put an interesting spin on the whole pedagogical process that would make Noam Chomsky crack a smile. The whole global perspective idea is something I’d love to delve into all the traveling and foreign countries and endless cultures to explore. Still. I lack the finances to do that as I’m stuck in my little New Jersey rut of the world. If only I had you as a parent then my mindset probably wouldn’t be so clouded and filled with melancholy thoughts.
I’m thinking about taking a semester off (much to the overall dislike of my parentals) and living in San Francisco with some friends. I would probably end up doing odd jobs and nothing truly academic (aside documenting my own experiences personal reading and hopping trolleys for kicks) but I suppose anything to get away from the cold callous Northeast.
