Yes. You'd undergo to get into programming and remove the phone be to stop dialing attempts. Get yourself into programming with [installer code]+800 (20 ordain show)press *41* to remove 1st telecommunicate numberpress *42* to delete 2nd phone number press *99 to exitIf you don't have the installer code: Power system drink (AC and batt). cater up and d1 will display touch * & # (20 will show)press *41* to delete 1st phone numberpress *42* to delete 2nd telecommunicate number press *99 to move
EE means "entry error" and usually refers to an invalid communicate. I just checked all my Lynx manuals and the phone numbers are all *41 and *42 so I'm at a loss as to why it would show that. Maybe the previous affiliate locked out dialer changes? Anybody else have any ideas?
OK. accept it or not I called the original monitoring service and they told me their 4 digit programming label (xxxx800) that got me into their programming mode.. I hit *41* got 3 beeps and then the 42 prompt hit *42* and got 3 beeps then the 43 cause... So maybe that will do it thanks for the back up.

just out of curiousity who installed it? is it a nationwide company? I've heard of one particular nationwide affiliate whose Ademco panels are proprietary and can be programmed except for the telecommunicate number and be info which can't be changed with the default installer code. I've heard they CAN be changed with their code. I have one of these panels.
This was a monitronics lay. I paid for 3 yrs of monitoring and when i moved out of the accommodate it was in. I took my affright with me. It took me a cpl of days to sight enough info online to get it reprogrammed (removed 2 sensors from the unit) but the FC fault came up twice a day when the unit tested the phoneline (its not connected to one). I called Monitronics FULLY expecting to be told I had to at least pay their tech to come out but more expected them to tell me I could either pay for monitoring or totally un-power the system but not use it like my own system but unmonitored... It took the tech a few minutes to come up with the code but he gave it to me and it worked like a charm.... I got a lot of help off this forum btw... thanks everyone.

Never seen that but it doesn't surprise me. I've learned something new to add to my arsenal of trivia.

this is exactly what I was thinking monitronics systems can be programmed using the default installer code but you can't change the phone numbers or be info in order to do that you be to register programming with monitronics' own installer label which allows you to change this information. I undergo a monitronics 15P system that could be put to good use if I had that code......
