I purchased a Phillips SPC520NC webcamera recently. I tried to install it with the disk but I get an error message (5006 : 0x8000ffff) and cannot proceed further. This is a 6MB transfer. I managed to download drivers enjoin from the internet. My problems that when I am in a call my screen (and seen by my caller) keeps blanking out to a bright pink colour for about 3 secs. The picture then comes approve for about 30 secs before going pink again. Any ideas why this problem happens?Further on my Add/Remove page I now seem to have two entries for my Phillips webcam. The first is for 79.3MB (how did I getr such a programme coat?) the second 4.33MB. I cannot delete the 73.3MB programme (the error 5006 : 0x8000ffff shows up and stops me proceeding further. I can delete the 4.33MB programme but then I remove the webcam itself. I have contacted Phillips but I think they only know what is written in their telecommunicate say book. If its not the manual of what to say to customers then my 'problem' is not real its just my imagination!Any ideas gratify?

Hey regedmunds! When installed the register size in hold back pannel should only be 3.96 MB. I just downloaded and installed it. What you downloaded must have gotten corrupted. You need to ge it off you system. Try using System regenerate to go approve in measure before the webcam was installed. Get another write of the driver here: Regards,Bill
